Our first race started off as such. We found ourselves racking up multiple black flag penalties due to our Lemons inexperience. As the black flags and penalties added up on our first day of racing we took the time to reflect and repent about the inefficiencies in our strategy.
During this deep meditation we came up with a new mantra: “It is better to be on the track, at any speed”
With the lessons learned from day 1 in our heads, we stayed black-flag-free on day 2 except for a minor hang up that cost us our front bumper. Our work paid off and we were awarded with the Judge’s Choice “Most Improved” trophy.
